In an event echoing the millions who gathered around the Polish border, and the thousands who lined the coast of the United Kingdom to pray the rosary, the United States will have their own “Rosary Coast to Coast” taking place later this year.
The living rosary is being planned by the lay organization the Holy League of Nations, who take their name after the Holy League of Nations formed by Pope Saint Pius V in 1571 that saw miraculous success at the Battle of Lepanto – success attributed to the rosary. The new Holy League of Nations too is waging a war: a spiritual one, using the rosary.
“We are at war. A war without borders, where no man is exempt but where most haven’t recognized, let alone been trained, to fight. Casualties often go unseen, but very few are left unwounded. The Enemies encamped against us seek to rob us of our Dignity–the essential Dignity of the Human Person, being made in the Image and Likeness of God.”
The Rosary Coast to Coast is ready to defend the “dignity of the Human person — Life, Marriage, Family, as well as Religious Liberty” through praying at rosary rallies across the United States on October 7th, the day of the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary which was instituted after the victory at the Battle of Lepanto.
Since its inception, the movement has quickly grown. Over 400 rosary rally sites have been registered spanning the entire United States, with hundreds and possibly thousands more expected to come. However, just as the spiritual war isn’t limited to the United States, neither is the movement. Poland, the British Isles, Ireland, Canada, Australia, Lebanon, India, Mexico, Panama, along with Central and South America countries have registered to host rosary rallies on October 7th.
