2203 In creating man and woman, God instituted the human family and endowed it with its fundamental constitution. Its members are persons equal in dignity. For the common good of its members and of society, the family necessarily has manifold responsibilities, rights, and duties.

  1. The nucleus of the society is the family. In the ecclesiastical body, the family is also the foundation of the Church. It is in itself a small church, where the father is the priest/minister, and the mother is the deacon or assistant. The children are the faithful or followers. Together thyy build the basic Christian Community. This is the calling of every Christian family!
