This video is in response to the claims of the “New Atheism.” One that has been presented by the likes of Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins and the late Christopher Hitchens. One who holds faith is NOT irrational. Science and reason are not incompatible with faith in fact they complement each other very well because they come from the same source, God. We hope that this video touches the hearts of many people. If you seek to dialogue in the commentary below please be respectful of those you are communicating with. Slander, foul language and the like will not be tolerated. May God, who is fully alive, bless each viewer.

Lyrics:
God is dead or a delusion that’s what they say,
the opiate of the masses just to get through the day.
Arrogant thinkers who quote scientists, philosophers and more
with eloquent Articulations and academic insulations with an infantile core.
Staging hateful attacks on a faith based creation,
with more force and venom but with less sophistication.
A Rational, Mathematical Universe with an intricate Design
Complex systems in the Universe and inside the mind,
and this just came to be, spontaneously, without definition?
It takes a lot more faith to be an atheist than a Christian.
You make the word faith synonymous with irrationality
When science uses faith, on that we must agree.
The Universe is Rational, Lawful, and Corresponds One to One with our Brains,
These are tenants of faith that the scientific method maintains.
So let’s refrain from an arrogant attack where science can’t reach,
Many things are known that the empirical method can’t teach.
God is not one thing in the Universe to be measured and verified.
He is the independent, transcendent uncaused cause of all inside.
You imitate our virtues and say they can be lived without God or creed
but they follow our moral structure and you deny you follow our lead.
People have been killed in the name of religion that cannot be denied.
But you say without religion peace and harmony will thrive?
The Spanish Inquisition three thousand, the Salem witch trials nineteen,
but millions upon millions slaughtered in atheistic regimes
How dark this world would be without faith, love and Divine light
We all have a conscience discerning what’s wrong and right
Each human heart desires much more than this life can’t get
To deny the existence of a Transcendent God is the ultimate opiate
You can numb the minds assent to the truth and faith you can refuse
But In the end man stands between God and nothingness and He must choose.

St. Cloud

St. CloudSaint Cloud is the most illustrious Saint among the princes of the royal family of the first French dynasty, the Merovingians (499-752). Born in 522, he was the son of Chlodomir, King of Orleans and eldest son of Clovis and Saint Clotilda. He was not yet three years old when his father was killed during a war. His grandmother, Saint Clotilda, brought him and his two brothers to Paris to be educated, and loved them dearly.

Their ambitious uncles, however, desiring to divide the kingdom of Orleans between themselves, slew with their own hands the two young brothers of Cloud. He, by a special dispensation of Providence, was saved from the massacre. Later, renouncing the world, he privately consecrated himself to the service of God. After distributing to the poor what he could salvage of his heritage, he retired to a hermitage to be under the discipline of a holy recluse named Severinus, who dwelt near the gates of Paris and who clothed him with the monastic habit. His uncles left him alone, seeing his inalterable decision to live as a religious, and conceded certain heritages to him. When he became famous through an act of charity rewarded by a miracle, he withdrew secretly to Provence. There again, his hermitage was sought out by petitioners. He decided to return to Paris, where he was received with the greatest joy.

At the earnest request of the people, he was ordained a priest in 551 by Eusebius, Bishop of Paris, and served the Church of that city for some time in the functions of the sacred ministry. Again he found himself in great honor; he therefore retired to Nogent, a place now known as Saint Cloud, two leagues south of Paris, where he built a monastery. There he was joined by many pious men, who fled from the world for fear of losing their souls in its midst. Saint Cloud was chosen by them to be their Superior, and he animated them to virtue both by word and example. He was also indefatigable in instructing and exhorting the faithful of the neighboring regions. He died at Nogent in 560, and the major part of his relics remain still in the parochial church of the village.

Psalm 37:3-6, 27-28, 39-40
Luke 5:33-39

1 Corinthians 4: 1 – 5
1 This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. 2 Moreover it is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy. 3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any human court. I do not even judge myself. 4 I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me. 5 Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then every man will receive his commendation from God.

Psalms 37: 3 – 6, 27 – 28, 39 – 40
3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so you will dwell in the land, and enjoy security.
4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.
6 He will bring forth your vindication as the light, and your right as the noonday.
27 Depart from evil, and do good; so shall you abide for ever.
28 For the LORD loves justice; he will not forsake his saints. The righteous shall be preserved for ever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.
39 The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; he is their refuge in the time of trouble.
40 The LORD helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked, and saves them, because they take refuge in him.

Luke 5: 33 – 39
33 And they said to him, “The disciples of John fast often and offer prayers, and so do the disciples of the Pharisees, but yours eat and drink.” 34 And Jesus said to them, “Can you make wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them? 35 The days will come, when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast in those days.”

36 He told them a parable also: “No one tears a piece from a new garment and puts it upon an old garment; if he does, he will tear the new, and the piece from the new will not match the old. 37 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; if he does, the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed. 38 But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins. 39 And no one after drinking old wine desires new; for he says, `The old is good.’”
